CAMPOBELLO, SC-- Mrs. Deborah J. Golightly, 56, of 147 Pullman Road, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at the Regional Hospice Home in Spartanburg.
Born in Elmira, NY on February 16, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Anna (Rice) and Edward Knapp of New York, and was the loving wife of William E. Golightly having celebrated 30 years of marriage.
She was a graduate of Elmira High School Class of 1972 and was a member of Cedar Bay Baptist Church in Jacksonville, FL.
In addition to her husband and father, she is survived by one daughter, Audree Golightly of the home; five sisters and one brother, all of Elmira, NY; and her most beloved sister-in-law, Lillie Saavedra of Lencanto, FL.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 25, 2009 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Seawright Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at Seawright Funeral Home at 3:00 PM on Thursday, March 26, 2009, with Rev. Reggie Parker officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Greer, SC.
